Sigma produced the High-Speed Cine Zooms with the intention of providing a high quality, reasonably priced alternative to other high end zoom lenses. The Sigma’s offer outstanding resolution and sharpness in a compact package and a fast t-stop of T2.
Venus Optics Laowa 24mm f/14 Probe features an integrated lens light for illuminating the subject using the slow f/14 stop. The probe is extremely sharp and allows focusing millimeters away from an object. It is available in PL mount and covers large format sensors.
Cooke’s full frame anamorphic prime’s feature a 1.8x squeeze factor to allow these lenses to fully cover large format sensors like those found in the ALEXA LF and Sony Venice. These lenses produce Cookes warm color pallet with unique anamorphic effects caused by the uncommon squeeze factor. They also feature the Cooke i/Data protocol for sending lens metadata to the camera system.
The CineFade VariND System allows the operator to create a depth of field ramp by using two polarizers, one static and one motorized. The effect is created by an iris motor ramping exposure at the same time that the variable ND polarizers increase or decrease ND value. The system can also be used as a variable ND without the depth of field effect.
The ALEXA Mini LF is a perfect match to the original ALEXA LF. Using the same sensor technology in a compact form factor, the Mini LF provides filmmakers with up to 40fps recording in 4.5K Open Gate, or 60fps recording in 16:9 UHD and 2.39:1 Scope 4.5K. It also features a number of improvements over the original ALEXA Mini, including additional I/O ports, a Compact Capture Drive Bay, and the new MVF-2 Viewfinder.
Designed through a collaboration between Bradford Young, ASC and Neil Fanthom, the Blackwing7's offer full frame/large format coverage and feature a robust design coupled with unique optical characteristics and customization options. Three standard production tuning options are available for the Blackwing7 lenses and feature black housings.

They offer prime lens caliber optical quality and low distortion with minimal color aberrations and pleasant bokeh with excellent color rendition. Vantage produced the MiniHawk lenses as the first set of Spherical Prime lenses that can be considered “Hybrid” in nature. They feature an oval iris design to emulate anamorphic oval bokeh while still using spherical optics. Due to this hybrid design the focal lengths printed on each lens are anamorphic equivalents. The actual angle of view and functional spherical focal length is wider than the printed anamorphic focal length. Spherical focal lengths are noted next to the anamorphic ones below.
These Zero Optik Nikon Primes are based on vintage full frame Nikon still photography lenses, but have been rehoused with cinema style gearing on the iris and focus for use on todays modern film sets.
